Hey — I'm Mikhail Poludin, an ML engineer.
Projects
Things I've worked on.
Conversational AI Engine
Reactive agentic pipeline powering real-time voice AI agents — connecting STT, TTS, LLM tool-calling, RAG, MCP servers, and memory at scale.
2nd Place — ElevenLabs Agents Hackathon
Built a voice agent that generates tiny learning games on the fly and lets you play them in the browser — in 4 hours at the ElevenLabs hackathon in Prague.
AI Tinkerers Prague — Indie Game Demo
Presented a live demo of an indie game about emerging AI at AI Tinkerers Prague. Built with co-dev Ivan Menshikov — the audience's reaction was overwhelming.
24-hour DigiEduHack at 42 Prague
Prototyped an open-source data infrastructure for Eduzměna to scale educational equity interventions across Czech schools — a replicable model for decentralized education systems.
TableQA — LLM Data Analysis Agent
Master's thesis at CIIRC, built as a PoC for a major automotive company. Code-generation agent for natural language querying of tabular data — fine-tuned and benchmarked multiple LLMs with QLoRA across 250 analytical queries.
Czech Language Model
Fine-tuned Gemma 2 on a 4B-token Czech corpus using FSDP across multi-node GPU clusters. Achieved measurable improvements on Czech NLP benchmarks.
Multi-UAV Path Planning
Improved RRT* algorithm for multi-drone autonomous navigation. Validated in ROS simulation and real-world drone flights at CTU Prague.
Amazon Nova AI Challenge
2nd place at the Amazon Nova AI Challenge 2024 (Alexa Prize track). Contributed to fine-tuning a 7B model for safe code generation.

About
What drives me.
I'm an ML engineer based in Prague — I spend my days building production AI systems, training language models, and figuring out how to make agents actually work reliably at scale.
But what I'm really interested in is what comes next. I'm drawn to starting things — working on problems that haven't been solved yet, shipping things that actually matter to people. The best things I've built started with a conversation, not a job description.
I'm actively looking for interesting people to talk to — co-founders, collaborators, engineers working on hard problems, or curious people from completely different fields. If something in this graph resonates, that's probably enough reason to reach out.
